Eurasia Cup Amateur – a new series of Eurasian League!

A new series of tournaments in the upcoming summer season will be the Eurasia Cup among amateur athletes. The competition is held for the member countries of the Eurasian Association in the individual competition.

The tournament will be held in several stages with the final at Maxima Park from October 6 to 9, 2022.

Who can participate:

– Riders ages 12 and up.
– Registered with the FEI
– Proven amateur status from their national Federation (amateur status is given to riders who do not receive remuneration for performing on horses belonging to other owners, who do not give commercial riding lessons, who do not perform on horses for advertising or commercial purposes)
– Important: the purchase and sale of horses and the receipt of cash prizes are not prohibited unless they are the primary source of income for the Amateur Athlete
– Amateur status restricts participation in other competitions and Championships
– After receiving an Amateur license they are not permitted to participate in any other competition categories in the current year with a starting height of 150cm or more

Horses must be 6 years of age or older and must be registered with the FEI

Where can take place:

– In any country of the Eurasian Association
– Both on open ground and indoors

Height of obstacles: not lower than 120 cm in Grand Prix Tournament.

To participate in the Final of the Eurasia Cup Amateur an athlete needs to finish at least one event of the series held in his/her region or organized by another NF of the Eurasia Association taking part in the competition of the series.
