On February 14, a meeting of the Bureau of the Eurasian Association was held in an extended online format.

During the online meeting, the EEA Bureau members considered the additions to the calendar of Eurasian League tournaments, discussed in detail four new projects of the EEA: Eurasian Championships for veterans and for young horses, Eurasian Amateur Cup and a new tournament in individual and team formats “Maxima Masters Cup Eurasia”.

Great attention was given to the conditions of Eurasian Association, tenders for holding tournaments and agreements between the EEA and the Organizing Committees of the competitions held under the auspices of the Eurasian Association.

A lively discussion was caused by the potential creation of the Eurasian Dressage League with the creation of the own World Cup League in this discipline. With a general approval, it was decided to hold additional consultations in the national federations for making a final decision at the next meeting.

The EEA Bureau members also touched upon the details of the Eurasia Championship, which this year will be held at Maxima Park in three Olympic disciplines in all age categories.

The program of dressage development, which was successfully realized last year and got an approval of the FEI, will be added with the same program of triathlon this year.

For the first time this year Russia (Maxima Park) will host the Nations Cup in triathlon. Not only representatives of the Eurasian region, but also European riders are expected at this tournament. The importance of this tournament in the system of preparation of the Eurasian triathletes for the upcoming Olympic Games and the possibility of receiving Olympic qualification in 2023 was emphasized.

In conclusion the question of preparation for the Eurasian Games in 2023 was discussed. It is a tournament, which will be held every four years in the pre-Olympic year, replacing the annual Championships Eurasia. Special qualifying competition for the Olympic Games in Paris in three Olympic disciplines show jumping, dressage and triathlon is planned in the framework of the Eurasian Games in 2023.
